Update: Suspicious Packages Left Behind By Vendor At Metro-North Station In Westchester

A full force of police along with a bomb squad turned out when four suspicious packages were found at a Metro-North station in Westchester.

The incident took place around 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 24 Station Plaza N., said MTA officials.

Members of the Westchester County Bomb Squad and MTA Police Canine Unit cleared the package by 4:30 p.m., said MTA Spokeswoman Meredith Daniels. 

According to Daniels, the packages were left behind by a vendor.
